Tallahassee Community College's Fall 2002-2003 Term has a record enrollment
of 11,537 credit students at the opening of the Fall Term. When compared
to the same time in the previous Fall Term, TCC's credit enrollment has
increased over three (3) percent. Including non-credit students, TCC has
a total of 12,149 students, an overall increase of 5% over the same time
last year. The College has 439 faculty; two-thirds are full-time faculty.

center serves approximately 4,500 adult students annually with 165 faculty
and staff members dedicated to offering quality programs that feature
intensive, hands-on training and job placement.

Florida A&M University is a four-year, public, co-educational and
fully accredited institution of higher learning. The main campus is spread
over 419 acres located on the highest of seven hills in Tallahassee, the
capital of Florida. The total assets of the University are valued over
$190 million dollars. The campus is comprised of 131 buildings and has
a current operating budget of over $210,000,000. Florida A&M University
student enrollment population consists primarily of undergraduates (students
enrolled at the lower division). As of Fall 1997, Florida A&M University
offered 108 undergraduate degrees in 64 undergraduate programs and 60
graduate degrees in 32 graduate programs (includes 1 professional and
7 doctoral degrees) within its 12 Schools and Colleges. The doctor of
philosophy is offered in the College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences,
College of Education and FAMU/FSU College of Engineering.

Florida State
University is a public and coeducational institution. It is a senior member
of the ten state universities that compose the State University System
of Florida. The main campus of the University is located in Tallahassee,
the state's capital. Florida State University also offers degree programs
in Panama City, Sarasota, and the Republic of Panama. In addition to the
branch campuses, FSU offers a variety of overseas study opportunities
for students during the regular academic year, as well as in special summer
programs. FSU has seventeen major academic divisions: the Colleges of
Arts and Sciences, Business, Communication, Education, Engineering, Human
Sciences, Law, Medicine, and Social Science; and the Schools of Criminology
and Criminal Justice, Film (Motion Picture, Television, and Recording
Arts), Information Studies, Music, Nursing, Social Work, Theatre, and
Visual Arts and Dance.

on the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test in reading, math, and writing.
School grading criteria also are affected by a school's demonstration
of improvement from one year to the next. Grades are provided only at
the school level (i.e., districts and the state are not assigned an overall
grade).

of Graduates
The
percentage of followed-up graduates from the previous year who were found
to be employed (full time and part time), the percentage of employed graduates
who are working part time, the percentage of graduates found to be continuing
education, and the percentage of continuing education graduates who are
also working. Follow-up includes only graduates with valid social security
numbers
Scholastic
Assessment Test (SAT) 
The
number of students tested, the percentage of 12th graders tested, and
the mean score for students tested on the Scholastic Assessment Test,
a national aptitude test widely used for college placement and admission
purposes. District and state results may include examinees enrolled in
alternative schools as well as regular high schools.
